Tips on Saving Time on a Tech Support Call

Longer tech support calls can be very irritating for people at both the ends. However, the customer support executives are well experienced and trained to take longer calls. So, the longer calls are only difficult for the customers/clients and Easytechy understands that. The duration depends on the issue. If it needs that much time, it will take that much time. But, here's the catch, you can have a short, concise call with the technical support executive if you follow these steps.

1. Preparation Before Calling
Before you pick up the phone and dial tech support's number, or log in to start the chat, note the points you wish to discuss.
If you are receiving an error message on your device, note down that error message. If there isn't an error message, then note down what your device is doing exactly. Don't go with the line 'it just doesn't work'. Be specific such as 'it's not responding on restart' or 'it just hung up after I did blah blah' or 'I am getting a beep sound, but the screen isn't showing anything'. The point is to being specific in mentioning the problem.

2. Best Place to Communicate
The call will involve the tech support executive giving you to do some tweaks with the wires or your machine. So, you got to listen to him carefully so that you twist the correct wire and to do that you have to listen to him/her carefully and a quiet place is the best for that.

3. Repeat – Check – Correct
There's always going to be terms used by the tech support executive that you wouldn't understand at first. So, repeat after him/her just to confirm that you have heard that right.

4. Keep a Pen and Notebook with you
This is a general tip to follow while you are on any official call. In the case of tech support calls, you will need a pen and notebook to write an important instruction, ticket number or any recommendation for that matter.

EasyTechy always wants its clients to have a pleasant experience over the call and the prime goal is to resolve their queries as quick as possible.
